Switch between three display modes depending on what you want to see: CCI only, CCI with the signal line, or CCI with the signal line plus the Bollinger Bands. A cross between CCI and the signal line gives a buy/sell cue, and the bands mark where CCI has run to an extreme, which helps tell whether a move is overheated or overstretched.
What it shows you
- CCI crossing the signal line, as an entry/exit reference
- CCI pushing outside the Bollinger Bands, flagging extreme momentum
- Overbought/oversold state above or below the +/-100 lines
How to use it
- Pick one of 7 moving-average types for the signal line (SMA/EMA/SMMA/LWMA/TMA/DEMA/TEMA) to set its speed
- Choose between standard candles and Heikin Ashi as the price source, 7 each for 14 in total
- Sits in its own sub-window so it doesn't cover the main chart
