RSI CrossOver Reversal EA

RSI Crossover Reversal Strategy EA is a reversal-based trading robot built for gold (XAUUSD). The idea is straightforward: when RSI pushes into overbought or oversold territory and then crosses back, short-term sentiment has usually run to an extreme and price is about to turn. The EA steps in right at that turning point.

To avoid getting chopped up in one-way moves, it adds an EMA trend filter. When the trend is running too hard or price has drifted too far from the moving average, the EA reads it as a poor environment for reversals and stays out, or closes whatever it is holding. It is designed to capture mean-reversion moves rather than fight a strong trend.

Core Logic

• Uses RSI to catch the reverse crossover after an overbought or oversold reading as the entry trigger
• EMA trend filter skips entries when the trend is too strong, and exits open positions in that case
• Exits when RSI returns to a defined zone, paired with a trailing stop to lock in profit
